The GF Singapore site is a high-mix, high‑volume manufacturing hub supporting advanced specialty technologies for automotive, smart mobile devices, industrial, photonics and connectivity markets worldwide.
With more than 30 years of manufacturing history, our Singapore Woodlands site is a core pillar of the company’s global footprint. Formerly Chartered Semiconductor, the site joined GlobalFoundries in 2009 and supports both 300mm and 200mm manufacturing.
Singapore delivers feature‑rich CMOS, power, RF-SOI, silicon germanium and silicon photonics technologies. In 2025, the site was named to the World Economic Forum’s Global Lighthouse Network for manufacturing excellence, and GF expanded its presence through the acquisition of Advanced Micro Foundry, strengthening its leadership in photonics.
