It is a microcosm of GF with our talented team members playing a vital role across all aspects of our business, including R&D, IP design, application engineering, quality, manufacturing operations and enabling services.

At our Bengaluru site, employees enjoy a modern, well-rounded workplace designed to support both work and life. GF India is a pioneer in remote fab engineering, providing 24/7 operations support. Our teams work closely with GF fabs globally, driving cross-functional learning and standardization.
We have a strong culture of cross-collaboration across teams, enabling the development of technical centers of excellence spanning radio frequency, CMOS, power, silicon photonics, GaN, custom silicon and IP —bringing together domain expertise across the semiconductor value chain. We are also expanding our lab infrastructure with teams working on testing, validation, verification and reliability.
Approximately 80% of the GF India workforce is focused on technology with a strong mix of advanced qualifications, including PhDs, fostering a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
At GF India, our vibrant employee resource groups bring people together beyond work—whether it’s sports, culture, or volunteering—creating meaningful connections for employees and their families. Last year, our team contributed 1,980 volunteer hours—averaging 5.4 hours of community impact every single day.

We also focus on working with universities to promote workforce development and a deeper understanding of semiconductor technology. This includes engaging with faculty and students through guest lectures, participating as expert panelists at conferences and invited talks, faculty visits to GF and joint curriculum development. GF India has also initiated joint training programs and certification courses with leading institutes, such as the Indian Institute of Technology – Bombay (IIT-B).
