Senior Vice President of Silicon Photonics and RF Businesses
Téa Williams is Senior Vice President, Silicon Photonics and RF Businesses at GlobalFoundries (GF), a position she was appointed to in 2026. In this role, she leads GF’s Silicon Photonics and RF businesses, enabling customers across smart mobile devices, IoT, automotive, communications infrastructure and data center. Together, GF’s silicon photonics and silicon germanium platforms are foundational to the optical networking growth driving AI data center connectivity.
Ms. Williams brings more than 20 years of extensive experience in strategic business development, product development, and operations management in the semiconductor industry. She joined GF in 2023 as Senior Vice President of the Power Business. Prior to joining GF, Ms. Williams served as Senior Vice President for the 3D Sensing Business at Lumentum. She began her career as a design engineer at Texas Instruments, where during her 17-year tenure she served in a range of roles spanning engineering, business leadership and site leadership.
Ms. Williams holds both a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Arkansas, as well as Executive Education from INSEAD and Harvard Business School Executive Education.
