Kamal Khouri
Senior Vice President of Integrated Optics Business
Kamal Khouri is Senior Vice President of Integrated Optics Business at GF, a role he assumed in 2026. In this role, Mr. Khouri leads GF’s SCALE product offering within the company’s Advanced Connectivity portfolio, overseeing innovation, development, customer engagement and ecosystem partnerships. SCALE is GF’s co-packaged optical-engine technology designed for next-generation data centers.
Mr. Khouri has more than 26 years of experience in the semiconductor industry. Prior to his current role, Mr. Khouri was Senior Vice President of GF’s Feature-rich CMOS Business, the company’s largest business at the time, covering differentiated CMOS technology platforms for automotive, home and industrial IoT, smart mobile devices and aerospace and defense markets. Prior to joining GF, he led the Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) MPU business within NXP’s automotive division, delivering innovative advanced driver assistance technologies. Mr. Khouri also served in various engineering, product management, business development and strategy roles at Motorola, Freescale and AMD, holds several patents and has published over 25 technical journal and conference papers.
Mr. Khouri holds a degree in electrical engineering from Bucknell University and a master’s and Ph.D. in computer engineering from Princeton University.
