We opened our Malaysia office in September 2023 in Penang with strong support from the local government through InvestPenang.
The GF Malaysia office also continues to expand on our partnerships with world-class institutions and industry counterparts including SEMI Southeast Asia. Our Memorandum of Understanding with Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) that provides a framework of partnership for talent development and growth opportunities.

This office serves as a key hub to support all of GF’s global manufacturing sites by virtually providing round-the-clock engineering and technical support through the company’s state-of-the-art Factory Control Tower (FCT). The FCT enables the team to monitor key production processes, performance metrics, and tool uptime across all of GF’s global manufacturing sites.
