The GF Malaysia office boasts a diverse team broadly representing the Asian region. This fabless office serves as a key hub to support all of GF’s global manufacturing sites by virtually providing round-the-clock engineering and technical support. This is in line with our global footprint strategy to scale our global operations and continue providing our customers with the supply chain resiliency they need. One of the key features of the Penang Hub office is our company’s state-of-the-art Factory Control Tower (FCT). The FCT enables the team in Malaysia to monitor key production processes, performance metrics, and tool uptime across all of GF’s global manufacturing sites. The GF Malaysia office also continues to expand on our partnerships with world-class institutions. We have a Memorandum of Understanding with Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) that provides a framework of partnership for talent development and growth opportunities.
