Sam Franklin

Sam Franklin is Chief Financial Officer (Interim) and serves as Vice President of Business Finance, Operations and Investor Relations at GF. Mr. Franklin is responsible for the company’s financial operations and strategy and commercial F&O functions as well as GF’s interface with the global investment community.

Previously, Mr. Franklin was Vice President of Capital Markets, Treasury and Investor Relations, responsible for leading GF’s activities across the equity and debt capital markets, in addition to funding, risk and liquidity management.

Before joining GF in 2022, Mr. Franklin spent over 15 years in investment management and investment banking, holding senior finance positions with Mubadala Investment Company, MUFG Bank and Barclays.

Mr. Franklin holds a Law degree from Durham University in England and is an accredited Fellow Chartered Management Accountant and Corporate Treasurer.
