GF Essex Junction has a long history of innovation and invention and has produced more than 20 Master Inventors. This site specializes in radio frequency and silicon germanium technologies, which are essential for wireless and 5G applications, and is one of two 200mm Trusted Foundries in the United States. The facility is located on a scenic and serene campus surrounded by lush greenery and the Winooski River. It is close to the amenities and attractions of Burlington, the largest city in Vermont, the University of Vermont (GaN Tech Hub), mountains to hike and ski, and the Burlington waterfront. We support the local community by donating to various causes and organizations.
