Matthew Zack

Matthew Zack is Chief Corporate Development Officer at GF. He leads the company’s strategy, M&A, and partnership initiatives to drive growth and innovation.

Before joining GF, Mr. Zack advised Synopsys on engineering simulation and co-led integration for its $35B acquisition of Ansys. He previously served as Global Head of Corporate Development at Ansys, where he executed over 20 acquisitions and built strategic partnerships with leading technology companies.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Zack held senior finance and corporate development roles at SAP and Ariba, guiding major business model transformations and supporting multi-billion-dollar transactions. He began his career at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture).

Mr. Zack holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech and serves as Chairman of EdgeCase, an AI-focused startup supporting safe deployment of advanced technologies.
