Doing Good in Our Communities

At GF, we believe in giving back to the communities where our employees live and work. Our culture of giving, compassion, and community involvement enhances GF as a workplace and reflects our core values, which is why we are proud to support our local communities through our GlobalGives program.

Our Commitment to GlobalGives  

Since its inception in 2016, GlobalGives has enabled GF and its employees to contribute over 28,000 volunteer hours and $4.73 million USD in donations worldwide. GlobalGives supports corporate donations, employee contributions, company matching, and volunteer rewards. Every employee can participate, with access to over two million global charities within our company wide giving platform.  

GF is proud to offer a 100% company matching for each employee donation and $10 USD in giving rewards per volunteer hour, up to $1,000 USD (or regional equivalent) per employee each year. New hires receive a $20 USD credit in their giving account to donate to their chosen charities. 

Each year, GF employees volunteer and donate to various causes, improving life in our communities. GlobalGives has driven numerous campaigns, including food drives, school supplies, holiday gifts, Earth Day volunteerism, and disaster relief. Our focus areas include STEM education, DEIB (diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging), and crisis response.  

Supporting Communities in Crisis: 

GF’s commitment to our mission and values shines through when we unite as ONEGF to support communities impacted by crisis, such as natural disasters. Our GlobalGives platform allows us to address community needs during these types of incidents, by collaborating with local teams to identify causes employees can support to make the most impact.  

Fostering STEM Education: 

GlobalGives has prioritized STEM education since its beginning, funding local programs in all GF locations to inspire a love for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics in underserved communities globally. This focus helps build a stronger, more innovative future.  

Fostering Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion: 

Aligned with GF’s DEIB initiatives, GlobalGives promotes awareness for underrepresented groups. We collaborate with Employee Resource Groups to offer a special 200% match for donations to curated nonprofits during heritage months and organize volunteer events. GF has also committed $100,000 annually since 2020 to social justice causes in the U.S. and supports the Jackie Robinson Foundation scholarships.
