Ted Letavic

Ted Letavic ist Corporate Fellow und damit der erste Inhaber dieser Position, die zum Zeitpunkt seiner Ernennung im Jahr 2022 eingeführt wurde. Die Rolle des Corporate Fellow wurde in Anerkennung der Bedeutung von Innovation für die Zukunft des Unternehmens geschaffen.

Mr. Letavic leads GF’s Silicon Photonics Technology Solutions team and provides innovation and technical leadership to GF Labs.
Previously, Mr. Letavic was Vice President of Compute and Wired Infrastructure, where he played a central role in developing GF’s innovative silicon photonics technology, as well as the creation of compelling, differentiated technology value propositions for customers in the smart mobile device, personal computing, home and industrial Internet of Things (IoT), automotive, and communications infrastructure and data center markets.

In seiner mehr als 30-jährigen Karriere war er in verschiedenen Positionen im Bereich Halbleiterinnovation tätig. Neben GF war Letavic in führenden Technologiepositionen bei Philips, NXP und IBM tätig. Er ist ein GF-Master-Erfinder mit über 60 erteilten US-Patenten.

Herr Letavic hat einen Doktortitel in Elektrotechnik und Elektronik vom Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
